Iran short 'Forouzan' is scheduled to be screened at 2018 Corto e Fieno Rural Film Festival in Italy.
Directed by Mirabbas Khosravinejad, the 12 minute flick will attend the competition section of the event.
The film narrates the story of a young village woman who has lost her husband and now lives with her two kids.
To protect their flock against the thieves, she spent a white night and watched over her properties.
'Forouzan' has, so far, been screened in several international festivals and has grabbed awards such as Best Narrative Short at 2018 Independent Shorts Awards in the US.
Launched in 2010, Corto e Fieno Rural Film Festival investigates the persistence of the rural in contemporary society through cinema.
The ninth edition of the festival is slated for September 21-23, 2018 in the Italian city of Ameno.
